How Domain Connection Works in Gemini HQ

What’s happening

Gemini HQ requires a connected domain before pages, funnels, and email sending can work correctly.

Clients often reach this step and are unsure:

  • Which domain to use

  • What needs to be connected

  • What Gemini HQ handles vs what they are responsible for

Until the domain is connected correctly, parts of the platform may appear incomplete or inactive.

Why this happens

How domain setup works depends on your plan.

For Convert and Automate plans, Gemini HQ register and control the domain on your behalf as part of setup.


With most Legacy Lite plans, domain ownership and management remain with you through your domain provider (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains).

Regardless of plan:

  • Required DNS records must be in place

  • Domain verification must complete before platform features activate

  • The system will not activate pages or email sending until verification is complete

These steps protect deliverability, security, and overall account integrity.

What to check

Before contacting Support, confirm the following:

  • You selected the correct domain or subdomain

  • DNS records were added exactly as provided

  • Records were added at the domain provider (not inside Gemini HQ)

  • Enough time has passed for DNS propagation (up to 24 hours)

  • The domain shows as verified inside Gemini HQ

If any record is missing or incorrect, verification will not complete.

What this does NOT mean

  • It does not mean Gemini HQ is down

  • It does not mean pages or emails are broken

  • It does not mean Support can bypass setup

It means the platform is waiting for required domain verification to finish.

When to contact Support

Contact Support if something is not functioning as intended within your plan’s defined scope.

Contact Support based on your plan type:

Lite plan

  • Support for domain setup is provided through the Knowledge Base if your domain is not managed by Gemini HQ.

Convert & Automate plans

Contact Support after you have:

  • Added all required DNS records at your domain provider

  • Allowed time for DNS propagation

  • Confirmed the domain still shows as unverified in Gemini HQ

When contacting Support, include:

  • The domain name

  • The DNS provider

  • A screenshot of the DNS records

  • This allows Support to review the setup efficiently.

Until it’s complete, key platform features will remain inactive by design.
